Indie rock and electronic dance party with DJs and stage production at Mohawk Austin.
Electric Feels comes to Mohawk on Friday, July 24, as part of Mohawk Presents. It's an all-night dance party built around indie rock and indie dance hits, played by the Electric Feels DJs and backed by full stage production. The music draws from a wide canon of artists: Tame Impala, MGMT, The Killers, LCD Soundsystem, Glass Animals, The Strokes, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys, Empire of the Sun, Jungle, Vampire Weekend, Foster The People, alt-J, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gorillaz, The White Stripes, Bloc Party, Justice, M83, and Hot Chip, among many others. If you've spent the last couple of decades with those names on your playlists, you've got a good idea of what to expect.
The night is open to all ages, so it's as much for a younger crowd as it is for people who've been following these bands since they first broke. The music is the main event here, and the stage production is there to back it up, keeping the energy going through the night.

It takes place at Mohawk - Austin Outdoors, 912 Red River St, which is a primarily standing-room-only, cashless outdoor venue. If you're bringing a bag, keep in mind that anything larger than 12"x12"x6" is subject to search. The party starts at 9 PM, and tickets start at $49.
