Mini golf tournament across Austin's East Side open to all skill levels, with proceeds benefiting Healing With Horses Ranch.
The East Side Mini Open returns to Austin's East Side on Saturday, October 17, for its eighth year. It's a day of mini-golf and friendly competition open to all skill levels, and the course is spread across 18 bars and venues in the neighborhood. The day runs from 12 PM to 9 PM, with doors opening at 11 AM.
If you're playing the full day, you'll check in for your day pass at Kinda Tropical, The Cavalier, or Yellow Jacket Social Club between 12 PM and 2 PM. From there, you move through the 18 holes scattered across the East Side. If you're starting later, there's a twilight tee time at The Grackle starting at 3 PM. The whole thing wraps up with an awards ceremony at Hotel Vegas at 8 PM.
The Cavalier (2400 Webberville Road #A, Austin, TX 78702) serves as one of the main hubs, but the actual play happens across the neighborhood. On the music side, LOOSE SPRINGSTEEN provides the soundtrack for the day, and the event is hosted by Butcher Bear and Kevin Curtin.

Proceeds go to Healing With Horses Ranch, a local nonprofit that provides equine-assisted therapy and education programs. So, whether you're actually good at mini-golf or just in it for the drinks and the neighborhood walk, the money ends up in a good place. The day runs from 12 PM to 9 PM, with doors at 11 AM.
