Concert featuring the Austin alt-country-rock duo Donna and the acclaimed Americana musician Jordan Matthew Young at The 04 Center.
Donna and Jordan Matthew Young share a bill at The 04 Center on Friday, July 24. It's a double bill that pulls from two different corners of the roots world: an Austin alt-country duo and a touring Americana singer-songwriter.
Donna is an Austin-based alt-country-rock duo made up of singer-songwriters Logan Daniel Garza—who also goes by Wildman—and Brett Land. They're known for thick harmonies and a subtle drawl, a sound they've been building since 2017 when they formed under the name Flatland Holler. The two had been playing together for a decade before that, so there's a long history behind the partnership. Their 2018 EP Nothing To Lose did well enough to keep them moving toward a full-length debut, Again, For the First Time, which they've been working on since then.
Jordan Matthew Young comes from a different place. Born in Utah, he works in Americana, roots, and rock, and he's built a reputation on gritty vocals, soulful guitar work, and raw storytelling. His career has taken him across the U.S. and Europe, and he's shared stages with ZZ Top, Diana Ross, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He also gained national attention as a Top 3 finalist on Season 20 of The Voice in 2021, where he was part of Team Blake.
