Live music night featuring David Miner, The Shinglers, and Jack Fister's Wildlife at The White Horse.
David Miner, The Shinglers, and Jack Fister's Wildlife are all on the bill at The White Horse on Wednesday, September 9. It's a three-act night that runs from 7:30 PM into the early hours of Thursday morning, with each act taking a full slot rather than a short opening set.
David Miner opens the night, playing from 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM. He's coming in from Seattle, Washington, so he's the one visiting from out of town. The Shinglers follow him, taking the stage at 10:00 PM and playing through 11:45 PM. Then Jack Fister's Wildlife closes things out, starting at 11:55 PM and going until 1:45 AM. Both The Shinglers and Jack Fister's Wildlife are Austin bands, so the latter two-thirds of the night stays local.
Because each act has a long window, you can catch one, two, or all three without feeling like you're rushing through. If you're only in for the early part, you'll get David Miner's full set. If you hang on through the middle, you'll see The Shinglers. And if you're staying late, Jack Fister's Wildlife carries the night well past midnight. The whole thing runs from 7:30 PM to 1:00 AM, though the music itself stretches a bit further.
