Country music concert by David Miner at The White Horse in Austin.
David Miner plays The White Horse on Wednesday, October 7, at 8 PM. He's a country singer-songwriter who hails from the Pacific Northwest and now calls New Braunfels, Texas, home. He started playing the western United States at 19, cutting his teeth in honky tonks, dive bars and beer joints before settling in Texas.
His approach to country music leans on authentic storytelling in the vein of the genre's old-school troubadours. In early 2021, he released Silver Valley, a self-produced collection of thirteen original songs that explore traditional country themes like relationships, rural life and a closeness to nature. That record is a good place to get a sense of where he's coming from before you see him live.

If you're not familiar with him, the Silver Valley songs give you a preview of the kind of writing he brings to the stage—straightforward country that doesn't try to be anything other than what it is. He'll be playing at The White Horse, 500 Comal St, Austin, TX 79702, starting at 8 PM.
