Danielle Nicole Band plays The 04 Center on Friday, September 4, as part of her GASLIGHT26 tour. It's a blues night in Austin, and she's the only name on the bill.
Danielle Nicole is a singer, bassist, and songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri, and she's spent her whole career in the blues. She first made a name for herself with her brothers, Nick and Kris, in the band Trampled Under Foot, which toured the Midwest for over a decade before finding a worldwide audience. Guitar World has called her playing soulful and inventive, and she's picked up eight Blues Music Awards along the way, including honors for Bass Player and Female Contemporary Artist of the Year.
Her solo work has come in three albums so far. Wolf Den arrived in 2015, followed by Cry No More in 2018, which earned a Grammy nomination and hit number one on the Billboard Blues Charts. Her most recent record, The Love You Bleed, came out in 2024, and this tour is built around that material. Between the new songs and the older ones, you'll hear her singing and playing bass throughout the set.
