Dancing Days bring their Led Zeppelin tribute to The Far Out Lounge & Stage on Friday, July 24. They're sharing the bill with the Carson Brock Trio, so the night starts with two acts on the same stage.
Rather than a costume act, Dancing Days focuses on the 'Hammer of the Gods' era of Led Zeppelin, recreating the sonic power and visual electricity of the band's 1970s peak. They lean into the improvisational spirit of the group between 1971 and 1975, working through versions of 'Dazed and Confused,' 'Heartbreaker,' and other songs from that stretch, with Jimmy Page's guitar tones and Robert Plant's vocals left to shine through.
Frontman Carson Brock has been playing guitar since he was four. His father, Kyle Brock, is a well-known Austin bass player best known for his work with Eric Johnson and The Electromagnets. That family connection runs right through the lineup, with Carson also leading the Carson Brock Trio, who open the night.

The show is all ages, and The Far Out Lounge & Stage is a neighborhood bar and live-music room with indoor and outdoor stages, a full bar, and a food truck on site. Doors open at 7 PM, and the music runs from 6 PM to 11 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
