Three days of new media art and sound with presenters including Christopher Petkus, Emily Beisel, and headliner Patricia Wolf.
COTFG is bringing the New Media Art & Sound Summit back to Cherrywood Center from Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27. It's the annual creative music festival from COTFG, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that describes itself as a beacon for Austin's experimental sound scene, with a focus on uplifting diverse and under-served artists and fostering equitable opportunities for creation, collaboration and community access. The three days are built for all ages, pairing high-quality performances with an affordable price point and giving local musicians and sound artists a chance to collaborate on new projects. The 2026 poster was created by Laurel Barickman of Recspec.
The lineup is a long one, with Patricia Wolf (Portland, OR) headlining. She's joined by Christopher Petkus, Emily Beisel (Chicago, IL), Lisa Cameron, Mongoose, BASS BOSS (film), MDN (NYC), Seetha Shivaswamy, Sacabambaspis, Jaycie Carver, Peter Stopschinski, Kenzie Slottow, Travis Burns, Sleeping Beast, Kenken Gorder, Stop Motion Orchestra, Thor & Friends x Air Squared, and Wilson Marks + James Suter. Visuals come from Brainwavve, Melissa Seely and Recspec.

It runs from 4 PM to 10 PM each day, so you can drop in for one afternoon or stick around for the whole weekend. Tickets are $15 per day or $30 for all three days, and the venue is Cherrywood Center, 1605 E 38th 1/2 St, Austin, TX 78722.
