Weekly drag brunch featuring COCO CXNTS at the Coconut Club rooftop, a 21+ event with first-come, first-served seating.
COCO CXNTS hold their drag brunch at the Coconut Club every Saturday, a weekly tradition that takes over the rooftop of the downtown bar in the Warehouse District. The club was voted "Best Drag Showcase" in the Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin 2022, and it's billed as the city's only weekly drag brunch.
The show runs from 1 PM to 4 PM, with doors opening at 1 PM and the performance starting around 2 PM. It's a 21+ event with first-come, first-served seating, and the rooftop fills up, so the word is to get there early if you want a good spot. Entry is free.
The venue sits right in the 4th Street gayborhood, which anchors much of the city's queer scene. A few doors down is Oilcan Harry's, open since 1990 as Austin's oldest gay bar, alongside Rain on 4th and Highland Lounge. Drag runs throughout the weekend across these spots, and the area draws its biggest crowds for Pride week in late August and SXSW in mid-March. If you're heading to the Coconut Club for brunch, you're already in the thick of it.
