Noise rock band Chat Pile performs live at Radio/East, with support from Soul Glo and Virga.
Chat Pile play Radio/East on Thursday, October 8, as part of their Who Loves the Sun tour. It's a noise rock bill with Soul Glo and Virga opening, so you'll get three bands in one night rather than just the headliner.
Chat Pile are the main draw here, and they're touring behind Who Loves the Sun, the record they've been bringing on the road. If you've followed them, you know the sound: heavy, abrasive noise rock that doesn't pull its punches. They've built their name on that particular kind of intensity, and this is one of the stops on the tour supporting the new material.
Soul Glo and Virga take the early slots. Soul Glo bring their own brand of high-energy, distorted noise to the bill, and Virga rounds out the lineup. Between the three of them, it's a full night of loud, heavy music, with the openers setting the stage before Chat Pile take over.
