Triathlon event with athletic participation fee and free public viewing at Walter E. Long Metro Park.
Cal Tri Austin comes to Walter E. Long Metro Park on Sunday, September 20, from 8 AM to 12:30 PM. It's one stop in the California Triathlon series, which brings athletes from all over the world to Austin—the Live Music Capital of the World—to compete across sprint and Olympic distances.
The day is built around 18 separate events, so there's a lot more going on than just a standard triathlon. Along with the triathlon itself, you'll see run-bike-run, swim-bike, swim-run, swim, and run. There are also youth sprint categories: RunBikeRun, Youth Sprint SwimRun, and Youth Sprint SwimBike. Whether you're into the full distance or just one of the disciplines, the schedule covers a wide range of combinations.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
