Country music songwriter and producer Bruce Robison performs live at The 04 Center in Austin.
Bruce Robison plays The 04 Center on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He's one of the state's most recognized songwriters, and if you've spent any time listening to Texas country over the last few decades, you've likely heard his work without even knowing it. The Chicks took his 'Travelin' Soldier' to number one, George Strait recorded 'Wrapped,' and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill did 'Angry All The Time.'
Robison has been recording since 1995, and his name has appeared on the Austin Country Nights and True Sounds compilations. He's also recorded duets with his wife, singer Kelly Willis. In 2016, he launched The Next Waltz, which he describes as a 'virtual social house' of music, videos, and interviews spotlighting this generation's best artists. Those sessions are recorded at The Bunker, his analog-tape studio just outside Austin that shuns digital processing in favor of an organic listening experience.
