Beginner queer linedance night at Sagebrush, all levels welcome, 21+ and $10 at the door.
Bronco is hosting a queer linedance night at Sagebrush on Monday, August 3, from 7 PM to 11 PM. It's a beginner-friendly night, and they're welcoming all levels, so you don't need to know a single step to show up and get on the floor.
If you've never done linedancing, the basic idea is that everyone dances the same choreographed sequence at the same time, rather than with a partner. It's a social way to dance without needing a date or a dance partner to lean on, and because it's a beginner-focused night, the teaching is built right into the evening. You'll be walking through the steps together, so you can just follow along and pick it up as you go.
Being a queer night, it's a space specifically for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to get together and dance. That means you can show up as yourself, bring a friend, or just come on your own and find your people on the floor. Between the beginner-friendly approach and the queer focus, it's a low-pressure way to spend a Monday night in Austin.
