Billiards Night

Pinballz Lake Creek hosts Billiards Night every Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM, and the tables are free to play. It's a simple enough setup: you show up, grab a cue, and play as long as you like during that three-hour window. The action happens in the Whiskey Lounge, the more upscale bar on the property, so you've got a place to sit and a drink in hand while you run the table.

If you haven't spent much time there, it helps to know what you're walking into. Pinballz Lake Creek is a massive entertainment complex—over 100,000 square feet of it—and the billiards are just one part of the mix. The place is built around classic arcade games and new video gameplay, with rows of pinball machines running through it. Beyond the games, it's got go-karts, laser tag, VR arenas, escape rooms, mini-bowling, bumper cars, a laser maze, and an XD Dark Ride Theatre Adventure. It's the kind of spot where you can start with a few games of pool and end up in a laser tag match or a go-kart race without ever leaving the building.

Food and drink are handled on-site by Mikki's Tavern, Scratch Kitchen, and the Whiskey Bar, so you don't have to head elsewhere for a meal or a drink. The venue also has party rooms that can hold anywhere from 10 to 1,000 people, which makes it a decent bet if you're bringing a larger group along for the night. Between the arcade, the activities, and the food, there's plenty to do around the tables if you're not in the mood to play all three hours.

Billiards Night runs every Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM at Pinballz Lake Creek, 13729 Research Blvd in Austin. The tables are free during those hours.
