Austin Quest for Ancient Civilizations

Austin Quest for Ancient Civilizations takes over ACL Live at The Moody Theater downtown from October 16 to 18, three full days of talks and discussion. It's billed as the largest gathering of its kind in North America, bringing together explorers, researchers, authors, filmmakers, adventurers, and truth-seekers to look at ancient civilizations and the possibility that human history is more complex than the conventional timeline.

The lineup features David Hatcher Childress, Randall Carlson, Billy Carson, and William Henry, among others. Over the weekend, they'll be talking through megalithic architecture, lost technologies, sacred geometry, the Younger Dryas Cataclysm, unexplained artifacts, and the idea that our ancestors weren't nearly as primitive as we're usually told. It's framed as a challenge to the standard historical narrative, with the researchers rewriting human history live and in person.

One thing that sets this apart from a typical lecture series is the format: every speaker stays accessible throughout the weekend, at their booths, during Q&A sessions, and around the venue. It's meant to be a gathering as much as a series of presentations. The event follows the success of 'Fight for the Past' featuring Graham Hancock in Sedona, Arizona, where a 750-seat venue sold out and attendees traveled from 46 states. It runs across three days: Friday, Oct 16, starting at 6 PM; Saturday, Oct 17, starting at 9 AM; and Sunday, Oct 18, starting at 9 AM. All three sessions are at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin.
