LGBTQ+ showcase with live performances by Noah Vonne and Mama Duke, tarot readings, and tattoos at Cheer Up Charlies.
Girls, Gays & Theys are putting on the Austin Pride Artist Showcase at Cheer Up Charlies on Friday, August 21. It's a night that starts as a live show and opens up into a wider LGBTQ+ social, with the music running as one part of a larger spread of things to do. The venue, Cheer Up Charlies, is a regular Austin haunt for the city's queer nightlife, so it's familiar ground for a Pride event.
The live performances kick off at 10:30 PM with Noah Vonne and Mama Duke. After they've had their turn, DJs take over and keep the dance floor going through the rest of the night. That's the core of the evening, but there's more happening around the edges: tarot readings by Mak Jagger Tarot and tattoos by Off World Tattoos run alongside the music, so you can get a reading or a new piece of ink while the party is in full swing. Brand activations are part of the mix too, making it more of a social than a standard concert.

It's a long one, running from 9 PM to 2 AM, with the live sets starting an hour and a half in. Early bird tickets are $10 and regular admission is $15.
