A night of Latin rock and Rock en Español with Fabulosos Decadentes and Será Cero at Flamingo Cantina, inspired by Soda Stereo.
Fabulosos Decadentes and Será Cero play Flamingo Cantina on Saturday, October 10, as part of the Austin Latin Rock Fest. It's a night of Latin rock and Rock en Español, and the whole thing is built around the hits of Soda Stereo.
That's the thread that ties the night together. The bill draws on the legacy of the genre, with music inspired by Soda Stereo, Fabulosos Cadillacs, Autenticos Decadentes, La Mosca, Redondos, and more. If those names ring a bell, you've got a good idea of the sound: the brassy, danceable side of Latin rock and the guitar-driven energy of Rock en Español. The night is organized by Flamingo Cantina, and it's for ages 21 and over.

Doors open at 8:30 PM, and the show starts at 9:30 PM. It runs late, too—through to 2:00 AM on Sunday, October 11, so there's plenty of room for the music to stretch out. Tickets are $13 in advance and $18 on the day of the show.
