World and jazz fusion concert by Atlas Maior at Meanwhile Brewing Company, with food trucks and beverages available.
Atlas Maior play Meanwhile Brewing Company on Sunday, August 2, at 10 AM. It's a morning show, so you'll be hearing them while the city is still waking up rather than late into the night.
Atlas Maior is a local world/jazz band, and the music they play sits right at the intersection of jazz, Arabic music, and Latin American sounds. If you're not familiar with that mix, it's a fair idea of what to expect: jazz improvisation meeting the melodic lines and rhythms of the Middle East and Latin America. The show is presented by Meanwhile Brewing Co., and they're the only act on the bill.
Since it's a morning set, the vibe is a bit different from your usual gig. The show is open to all ages, so it works as a family outing as much as a solo trip. There are beverages available at the taproom and food from onsite food trucks, so you can grab breakfast or a drink and settle in. Seating is available near the stage, which is outdoors, so keep in mind that cancellations can happen on the basis of weather.
