Africa Night with Bamako Airlines, Zoumountchi, and Afro Jazz

Bamako Airlines headline Africa Night at Sahara Lounge on Saturday, August 15, with Zoumountchi and Afro Jazz joining the bill. It's part of the lounge's signature Africa Night series, which pairs live music with a complimentary buffet dinner. The room fills with a mix of Afrobeat, reggae, and afrojazz throughout the night, and the dance floor usually stays busy.

Zoumountchi comes to the stage from Niamey, Niger, bringing a voice and a presence that fit right in with the night's focus on West African sounds. Bamako Airlines takes the lead, and Afro Jazz rounds out the lineup. Between the three, the music moves across the different styles the night is known for, from the rhythmic drive of Afrobeat to the more improvisational side of afrojazz.
