An evening of Afro Jazz music with a buffet dinner and live bands at Sahara Lounge.
Africa Night returns to Sahara Lounge on Saturday, July 25, for a full evening that pairs a free dinner with three different bands. It runs from 7 PM to 2 AM, so it's a long one—the kind of night where you can show up early for the food and stay late for the music.
The night kicks off at 7 PM with the Africa Night Buffet and Afro Jazz, which is where the free dinner comes in. You can eat your fill and listen to the jazz while you settle in. At 9 PM, Rey Arteaga takes the stage, and then at 11 PM, Zoumountchi arrives from Niamey, Niger. Zoumountchi is back for 2026, so if you've caught them before, this is a return visit.
Between the buffet and the three acts, the evening stretches across seven hours. You can come for the early dinner and the jazz, stay for the middle set, or wait until late when Zoumountchi takes over. Since the dinner is free, it's a good excuse to get there early and make a night of it rather than just dropping in for one set.
