Anniversary party with live music from Rhinestone Radio, Grover Street Country Band, and Kathleen Turner Overdrive, featuring golden food specials and craft beers.
Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden is celebrating its 14th anniversary on Saturday, August 1, with a full day of live music and golden-themed specials. The party runs from 11 AM to 11 PM at 79 Rainey St, and it's free to get in.
Three bands are spaced across the day, so you can drop in for one set or hang out for all of them. Rhinestone Radio kicks things off from 11 AM to 2 PM, followed by Grover Street Country Band from 3 PM to 6 PM. After a break, Kathleen Turner Overdrive takes over from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The music runs nearly the whole day, with the late set wrapping up just before the bar closes.
Banger's opened on Rainey Street fourteen years ago with a few sausages, a lot of beer, and not much of an idea how big it would get. Since 2012 it's grown into one of the city's go-to beer spots, known for house-made sausages that run from classic bratwursts to more creative and vegetarian options, and for more than 200 craft beers on tap—billed as the largest selection in the state. The sprawling beer hall and outdoor garden seat more than 500 people at communal tables, and the place is also known for its Sunday big band brunch.

The 14K Gold Anniversary Party is the bar's way of thanking the guests, neighbors, and regulars who've been around for the last 14 years, and it leans into the theme with limited-edition golden food specials, fourteen featured golden beers, and rare cellar pours. It's a dog-friendly atmosphere, so you can bring your pup along. The party is free, and the music runs from 11 AM to 10:30 PM.
