Panther Prowl Tailgate Party

The Georgia State Panthers are taking on Coastal Carolina on Saturday, October 31, and before the game kicks off, the university is throwing the Panther Prowl Tailgate Party on the stadium plaza. It's part of Georgia State's Ethics Awareness Week, so the party is as much about the campus community as it is about the football.

The setup is a classic tailgate: games, snacks, and giveaways spread across the plaza, all leading up to the Panthers game against Coastal Carolina. If you're already heading to the stadium, it's an easy way to kill a few hours and get into the game-day mood before the actual kickoff.

The party is at Center Parc Stadium, 755 Hank Aaron Drive SE, in Atlanta. For those who haven't spent much time there, the stadium is the home of Georgia State Panthers football, but it's also a spot with its own history: it's the former Olympic Stadium and Turner Field, so it's a piece of the city's sports past as much as it is a current venue.

It all happens on Saturday, October 31, at Center Parc Stadium on Hank Aaron Drive SE. There's no start time listed, so you'll want to check in closer to the date to see when the plaza opens.
