Opening weekend of the Overtime Elite season with two youth basketball games at the Overtime Elite Arena.
Overtime Elite tips off its sixth season with an opening weekend at the Overtime Elite Arena on Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23. If you're not familiar, OTE is a professional basketball league that brings together the best 17- to 20-year-old players from the U.S. and abroad, and it's built as a showcase for young talent on their way to the NBA. This is the start of their sixth season, so it's a good time to catch them before the season gets fully underway.
Two games are on the bill. RWE takes on Fear of God, with RWE led by 2027 No. 1 Beckham Black and No. 2 CJ Rosser, and Fear of God featuring No. 3 Cayden Daughtry. The other matchup is The Cold Hearts against the reigning champions, FaZe. That one is a rematch of the 2026 OTE Finals, and it's got a few names to watch: 2028 prospect Benji Berrouet is on The Cold Hearts, and they're rolling with three 7-footers on the roster. FaZe enters as the team to beat, having taken the title last season.
