Free show by Oso Oso, the rock and indie project of Jade Lilitri, with support from Leisure Hour and Bad Luck.
Oso Oso play The Masquerade - Purgatory on Wednesday, October 21, with Leisure Hour and Bad Luck opening. It's a mid-week show, and the lineup gives you three bands for the price of one.
Oso Oso is the project of Jade Lilitri, who hails from Long Beach, New York. The band self-released The Yunahon Mixtape on Bandcamp in 2017 before signing to Triple Crown Records in 2018. The sound leans into rock, indie, emo and alternative, so it's the kind of set that pulls from a few different corners of the guitar-driven world rather than sticking to one lane. If you've followed them since the early days, you'll recognize the thread running from that first mixtape through to the Triple Crown years.
Leisure Hour and Bad Luck open the night, so the bill starts well before Oso Oso takes the stage. Between the three acts, you're getting a full evening of music rather than just a single set. The venue is now serving food, which is a handy detail for a Wednesday night when you might want to eat before the music starts.
