Stand-up comedy show featuring Matteo Lane on his 'We Gotta Catch Up!' tour, blending comedy with musical prowess.
Matteo Lane brings his stand-up show We Gotta Catch Up! to Atlanta Symphony Hall on Friday, December 4, 2026. It's his third international tour, and this is the Atlanta stop on that run.
If you haven't crossed paths with Lane before, he's a Chicago-born comedian with a background that doesn't exactly fit the usual stand-up mold. Before comedy, he lived in Italy as an oil painter and a classically trained opera singer. He's fluent in five languages and has a singing range of six octavesβthe kind of versatility that tends to find its way into his act. The Advocate described him as "bold and unflinchingly genuine," and Variety named him one of "10 Comics to Watch."
This is his third tour. His first, The Al Dente Tour, hit more than 100 markets and sold over 100,000 tickets. The second, Can't Stop Talking Tour, ended at Radio City Music Hall and a stand-up special with Hulu. We Gotta Catch Up! is the one he's on now. He's also a writer; his cookbook Your Pasta Sucks (Chronicle Books) was a USA Today national bestseller, and he's built a following of more than 4.5 million across social media.
