Stand-up comedy show by Matt McCusker, co-host of Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, performing his The Healing Frequency Tour.
Matt McCusker brings The Healing Frequency Tour to Atlanta Symphony Hall on Friday, October 23, for his first time playing the venue. It's a stand-up comedy show, and if you've come across him through the internet, you probably know him as one half of Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, which he co-hosts with Shane Gillis. That podcast is a huge part of his profileโit's described as the number one Patreon podcast in the world, pulling in more than 5.5 million downloads every month.
McCusker is a Philadelphia comedian, novelist, and actor, and he's earned the nickname "The Shaman" along the way. He's been putting out specials for a few years now: his first stand-up special, The Speed of Light, came out in 2023, and his Netflix debut, A Humble Offering, premiered in October 2025 and hit the Top 10. This tour is the latest chapter in that run.
He's also worked across a few different formats. On screen, he's appeared in the Netflix sitcom Tires and the web series Gilly & Keeves, and in August 2025 he launched an animated short series called The Papa John Paradox. And he writes books, tooโhis debut novel, Overlook: A Story About Drugs, Disappointment, and the American Dream, was received with acclaim. Between the podcast, the specials, the acting, and the writing, he's built a fair amount of ground outside of just standing on a stage with a microphone.
