Bass music DJ and producer Level Up (Sonya Kardon) plays The Eastern in Atlanta on her The Ritual Tour 2027.
Level Up plays The Eastern on Saturday, March 13, as part of her The Ritual Tour 2027. If you're not familiar with the name, Level Up is the stage name of Sonya Kardon, a bass music DJ and producer who started out as a battle DJ under the mentorship of the legendary Rob Swift. She eventually moved into dubstep and production, and that battle DJ background still shows up in how she handles a set.
Her sound sits right at the intersection of heavy bass and future bass, and she mixes in her own flips of classic dance and emo anthems. It's a specific kind of energy—heavy on the low end, but with those recognizable melodies and hooks that keep it from feeling like just another bass set. Since 2021, she's headlined six North American tours and played some of the biggest stages in the scene, including Red Rocks, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Electric Forest, and Ultra Music Festival.
Her discography runs across labels like Monstercat, Deadbeats, Subsidia, and Cyclops Recordings, and she also runs her own imprint, Summoning Circle. 2026 was a big year for her: she sold out the Parallel Spirits headline tour, put out the Club XL collaboration with Excision, and was named Breakout Artist of the Year at the EDM Awards. This Atlanta stop is one date on a North American run that spans from late January through April.
