Grammy-winning folk-rock duo Indigo Girls play the Cobb Energy Centre with special guest Linda Perry.
Indigo Girls play the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 25, with Linda Perry as special guest. The show starts at 7 PM, and doors open 90 minutes before that, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before the music kicks off.
For those who might need a refresher, the Indigo Girls are the Grammy-winning duo of Emily Saliers and Amy Ray. They cut their teeth in Atlanta-area clubs and bars long before signing to Epic Records in 1988. Their self-titled major-label debut sold more than two million copies, and it was driven by the singles "Closer to Fine" and "Kid Fears," both of which are still deeply tied to their name. This is a rescheduled date, so if you'd been keeping an eye on their calendar, this is the one that stuck.
Linda Perry joins them as special guest. She's a Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee and producer who first stepped into the spotlight as the lead singer of 4 Non-Blondes. Since then, she's become one of the most accomplished figures in pop music as a producer and songwriter, working with a wide range of artists. Having her on the bill adds a second distinct voice to the evening.
