Atlanta's longest-running indie craft market featuring 100+ artisan vendors, vintage curators, local food and workshops.
Indie Craft Experience returns to LOOP on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, from 11 AM to 5 PM. It's Atlanta's longest-running indie craft market, now in its 21st year. The Winter Experience is part of Handwork 2026, a nationwide semiquincentennial collaboration by Craft in America that celebrates the handmade and the diversity of craft across the country. Scraplanta is the official charity partner, supporting Atlanta's sustainable art-supply resource.
There are more than 100 artists, makers, vintage curators and small businesses on the floor. The lineup covers a lot of ground: jewelry, ceramics, printmaking, fiber, leather, woodwork, fragrance, apothecary, vintage and small-batch food. A few local names to look for are 83M Jewelry, AJH Leather Designs, Blackbird Makers, Little Bird Apothecary, Othus Perfumery and Xocolatl Chocolate. It's the kind of spread where you can find a piece of jewelry and a batch of chocolate in the same trip.
Owner and Creative Director Katrine Trantham took over during the market's 20th anniversary in 2025. Since then, she's pared the annual calendar down to two signature events, which she says allows for more selective curation and more participatory programming. Many regulars describe it as a family holiday tradition and the city's go-to shopping adventure for anyone looking for something truly handmade.
