NBA Cup game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Charlotte Hornets at State Farm Arena.
The Atlanta Hawks take on the Charlotte Hornets at State Farm Arena on Friday, November 20, 2026. It's a divisional matchup that puts two Southeast teams head-to-head in the middle of the season, and this one comes with a bit more on the line than a typical regular-season game.
The game is part of the NBA Cup, the league's in-season tournament presented by Harrah's Cherokee Casinos. It's a separate competition that runs alongside the regular season, and the whole point is that regular-season play earns teams a direct path to the knockout rounds. So, while it counts toward the standings, it's also a step toward the tournament's later stages.

Tip-off is at 7 PM. Doors open at 6 PM, but if you're a season ticket member, you can get in at 5:45 PM, which gives you a little extra time to settle in before the crowd fills up. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, the arena's official ticketing partner, and there are group tickets available for parties of seven or more if you're bringing a crowd. It's a Friday night game at State Farm Arena, so it should be a lively one.
