Hawks and Skyhawks Hoop It Up 3x3 Tournament

The Atlanta Hawks and College Park Skyhawks are teaming up for the Hawks and Skyhawks Hoop It Up 3x3 Tournament on Saturday, October 17, at the Georgia World Congress Center. It's a full day of basketball, running from 10 AM to 6 PM, with check-in starting at 9 AM. The venue is at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, right in the heart of downtown.

They've set it up to bring in a wide range of players. There are youth, adult, and Pro Am divisions, so you can enter with a group of friends or test yourself against more experienced competition. Every team is guaranteed at least three games, and you could play up to six depending on how you fare. If you're just looking to watch, spectator admission is free, so you can drop by and catch the action without needing a ticket.

There's a bit more to it than just the games. Every registered team member gets a regular season Atlanta Hawks game ticket voucher, which is a nice bonus for anyone who already follows the team. And for those who step up to the Pro Am division, the stakes are higher: the Pro Am champion walks away with a $2,000 prize.

Entry depends on which division you choose. A regular three-player team is $260, and you can add up to two more players for $20 each, with a maximum of five per roster. The Pro Am team entry is $330 for a maximum of four players. Between the guaranteed games, the ticket vouchers, and the Pro Am prize, there's plenty to weigh before you pick your bracket.
