Georgia State University Men's Soccer vs South Carolina - Alumni Night

Georgia State University Men's Soccer takes on South Carolina at the GSU Soccer Complex on Saturday, October 17. It's a regular-season matchup between the two programs, with the Panthers hosting the Gamecocks in Atlanta.

Beyond the game itself, this one is also Alumni Night. That means the match doubles as a homecoming for former GSU players, who'll be back on campus to watch the current squad take the field. If you've followed the program over the years, it's a good night to see some familiar faces in the stands alongside the current roster.

The match kicks off at 7 PM and runs until 9 PM, so you're looking at a full evening of soccer under the lights. It's a Saturday night game, which usually makes for a better atmosphere than a weekday afternoon—easier to get a crowd together and stay for the whole thing without worrying about a Sunday morning alarm. The GSU Soccer Complex is the home pitch, so the Panthers have the home-field advantage for this one.

If you're planning to go, keep in mind it's a 7 PM start, so you'll want to be there a bit early to find a spot and settle in before kickoff. The game wraps up around 9 PM, leaving you plenty of the night left. It's a straightforward Saturday night of college soccer in Atlanta, with the alumni returning to the sidelines.
