Annual fall family fest with movie-on-the-lawn, costumes, and pop culture fandom celebrations at The Home Depot Backyard.
Fall-O-Ween: Fandom Fest '26 is back at The Home Depot Backyard on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 11 PM. It's the annual fall family event where fall meets fandom, presented by The Home Depot Foundation as part of the venue's Arts + Culture programming. The night celebrates pop-culture favorites across anime, comics, gaming, sci-fi, and fantasy with costumes, themed activities, and immersive photo ops. The main event is a movie-on-the-lawn screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG), which starts at 8:30 PM.
If you aren't familiar with the spot, The Home Depot Backyard is an 11-acre public greenspace right next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It runs free programming around three pillars—Arts + Culture, Health + Wellness, and Inspired Learning—and it also doubles as parking and tailgating for Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United fans. Throughout the year, you'll find free fitness classes, a Summer Movie Series, and cooking and gardening classes there.
