Drag Bingo

Drag Bingo runs every Sunday from 1 PM to 3 PM at Politan Row, the food hall inside Colony Square at 1197 Peachtree St NE in Midtown. It's hosted by Brigitte Bidet, an Atlanta emcee, showgirl, and drag superstar who recently took home the title at the Atlanta All-Stars Drag competition, an eight-week contest that brought together some of the city's best entertainers. The whole thing is free to play.

To get in on the action, you pick up your bingo cards inside the venue's Blue Room. If you hit a winner, you're in the running for complimentary drinks from Bar Politan, along with prizes from Colony Square and other local retailers. It's a low-stakes way to spend a Sunday afternoon, and since it's free, you can drop in without much planning.

Politan Row itself is a clubby lounge bar that does more than just bingo. It also hosts salsa lessons, chess clubs, and karaoke over at Jo's Jo's Beloved, its 70s-themed cocktail bar. The whole scene draws on Atlanta's long drag history—from the pageant system to the city's drag royalty—and sits within a wider community of drag shows and brunches that pop up across town.
