Blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, with prizes for donors.
The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and the American Red Cross are teaming up again for a blood drive that runs across Atlanta on Saturday, October 24. It's not a single event at one spot—they're running it at multiple participating locations throughout the city, so you can pick the one that's closest to you. The window is open from 12 AM to 11:59 PM, which gives you the whole day to fit it in.
There's a reason they're doing this: the nation's blood supply has hit critical levels, and they're calling on football fans across the country to help replenish it. You can donate whole blood, platelets, or plasma, depending on what you're eligible for. To get in on the prize side of things, you'll need to use the Peach Bowl Blood Link when you book your appointment. As long as you donate by the deadline, you're entered for a chance to win a prize package that could include up to four tickets to this year's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, a football signed by both participating head coaches, and some Peach Bowl and Red Cross merchandise.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Atlanta and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

If you're not a huge football fan, the basics still apply—blood, platelets, and plasma are always in demand, and the Red Cross is the one handling the collection. If you are into the game, though, the tickets and the signed ball are the draw here. You can find more details and the link to schedule your appointment at cfapb.com/redcross.
