Monthly in-person photography critique session of the Atlanta Photography Group, held on the third Sunday of each month.
Critique Classique returns to the Atlanta Photography Group gallery on Sunday, November 15, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. It's the group's longest-running program, held in person on the third Sunday of each month, with a short break in the middle of the year.
The session is built around the idea that critique is a key part of an artist's growth. The group describes it as a way to get feedback, hear diverse viewpoints, and practice self-reflection. There's also a focus on resilience, community, and seeing your work from an audience's perspective—things that are hard to find when you're working alone in a studio.
The Atlanta Photography Group itself is an artist-initiated 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization, established in 1987 to serve the city's fine art photography community. Its mission is to help photographers further their artistic development, sustain an inclusive and vibrant photographic community, and promote contemporary photography as a significant art form through exhibitions, workshops, critiques, and photocentric events. The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors.
