Club 1BD, the DJ project of New York native DJ David, brings his house party sets of hip hop, pop and top 40 to Center Stage Theater.
Club 1BD takes over the Center Stage Theater on Friday, October 30, from 8 PM to 11 PM. It's a DJ project founded by DJ David, a New York City native, and the night is built around his vision of club life: unique and nostalgic DJ sets, a vibrant dancing environment, and the infectious, carefree spirit of a house party. He describes it as a way to showcase POC talent and bring that same energy to the floor.
If you're wondering what that sounds like in practice, the music leans on hip hop, pop, and top 40. It's the kind of set that pulls from the songs you already know and love, rather than something that asks you to learn a new genre on the fly. The nostalgia he talks about comes through in the records he picks, and the house party vibe is the whole point—it's about dancing and having a good time with the people around you.

Since it's a DJ project and not a band, the focus is on the flow of the night and the crowd it brings together. The set runs from 8 PM to 11 PM, so you've got a solid three hours to settle in. It's at Center Stage Theater, 1374 W. Peachtree St., Atlanta, GA 30309.
