Brand New perform live at the Fox Theatre, presenting their acclaimed album 'The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me'.
Brand New play the Fox Theatre on Thursday, October 22, with the set built around The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. It's the same lineup that's been the core of the band: Jesse Lacey, Vincent Accardi, Garrett Tierney, and Brian Lane.
If you've followed them from the start, you know where they began. They formed in 2000 on Long Island, New York, and made their mark on the local emo and pop-punk scene with their debut album, Your Favorite Weapon. That early sound is a far cry from the record they're focusing on here. The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me came later and went on to be one of the most influential records of the emo era, so that's the one you'll hear the most of that night.
They didn't stop there, either. In 2017 they returned with Science Fiction, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned widespread critical acclaim. Between that and the earlier work, there's a fair bit of ground they've covered over the years.
