Atlanta Hawks host the Dallas Mavericks in the first home game of 2027 at State Farm Arena.
The Atlanta Hawks host the Dallas Mavericks at State Farm Arena on Saturday, January 2, 2027. It's the first home game of the new year, and the Mavericks make the trip from Texas to take on the Hawks on Atlanta soil. Tip-off is at 7:30 PM.
If you're planning to be there, the timing matters. Doors open at 6:30 PM for the general public, but season ticket members get in earlier, at 6:15 PM. If you've got a season ticket, that extra fifteen minutes gives you a bit more breathing room before the crowd builds.
There are a few ways to get more out of the night. Hawks Rewards run through the Atlanta Hawks + State Farm Arena App, where you can earn or buy upgrades like Early Entry, Pregame Courtside Access, and a Postgame Freethrow. If you're a Chase cardholder, you can access Chase Preferred Seating through Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner. For getting to the arena, there are several parking decks to choose from: State Farm Drive, Diamond Deck, Sapphire Deck, and Ruby Lot.
