Atlanta's longest-running annual fall fair returns with new rides, classic carnival treats and family attractions.
The Atlanta Fair is back at the Atlanta Fairgrounds from Friday, Oct. 9, through Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026. It's the city's longest-running annual fair and a regular on the autumn calendar, setting up for more than four weeks at the Fairgrounds, which sits at the corner of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and Central Avenue, across from Georgia State Stadium.
What you'll find there is a mix of high-flying thrills, classic carnival treats and family-friendly attractions. This year brings new rides to the midway, and the fair leans on its history as a local tradition that draws crowds for the rides and the food. It's a broad enough spread that it works for a few different kinds of visits: a full day with the kids, a quick evening stop for a few rides, or a long afternoon of carnival food. After 6 PM, no one under 17 is admitted without a parent, and a clear-bag policy is in effect.
Admission is tiered by age and day. Children 42 inches and under get in for $3. For everyone 42 inches and over, it's $5 Monday through Thursday and $10 Friday through Sunday. The rides are separate: most take two to four tickets each per person, and you can buy single tickets for $1.25 or a book of 25 for $25. If you're planning to spend the whole day on the rides, there's an unlimited ride armband for $35.

Hours run Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 11 PM. With the fair running through early November, you've got plenty of time to fit it in.
