RSVP through Sweatpals: Atlanta Adult Recess: Field Day

Atlanta Adult Recess is back at Silverbacks Park on Saturday, October 17, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. It's a field day for grown-ups who still like to play, and this time it's bigger and more competitive than before. Goodiee Lux is running the whole thing, taking over the park for an afternoon of team competition, nostalgia, music, and a lot of energy.

The day is built around team challenges that'll feel familiar if you spent any time on a school playground. There's a 4x1 relay, tug of war, a hula hoop relay, a twelve-legged race, head shoulders cone, and a sack race. The whole thing wraps up with a water war finale and championship awards, so come prepared to get a little messy. It's less about being a pro athlete and more about the kind of games you probably haven't played since elementary school.

Your ticket covers admission, your team placement, access to all the games, and event refreshments and snacks. There will be more food and drinks available to buy on site if you're still hungry. One thing to keep in mind: the afternoon is filmed and photographed, and by attending you're consenting to that footage being used for Goodiee Lux promotional and social media content, so keep that in mind if you're camera-shy.

It runs from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Silverbacks Park, 3200 Atlanta Silverbacks Way, Atlanta, GA 30340. Tickets are $25.
