Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to the Fox Theatre for a limited run from February 17 to 21, 2027. It's a short window—five performances over five days—so you'll want to pick your night early. The company is under the artistic direction of Alicia Graf Mack, and the program pairs some of their most enduring work with a few world premieres.
Revelations is the constant here; it's performed at every single show. If you've never seen it, it's the company's signature piece, and it's the one most people associate with the Ailey name. Alongside it, they're bringing world premieres, including Power of Love by Jamar Roberts, a tribute to Luther Vandross. The mix of old and new is the point of this tour: the classics that built the company's reputation sitting right next to new work they're debuting on the road.
The company continues the vision of its founder, Alvin Ailey, who set out to deliver dance back to the people. This 2026-27 tour is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. It's a strictly limited engagement, so once these five dates are gone, that's it for this run.

There are six showtimes to choose from. Wednesday the 17th, Thursday the 18th, and Friday the 19th all start at 7:30 PM. Saturday the 20th has a matinee at 2:00 PM and an evening show at 7:30 PM, and Sunday the 21st is a 3:00 PM matinee. Doors open one hour before showtime. The Fox Theatre uses All-In pricing, so the ticket price you see includes the face value plus restoration, service, and tax fees. The venue is also primarily cashless, so keep that in mind before you head over to 660 Peachtree Street NE.
