Weekly Thursday night of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House, Reggae, Soca and Dancehall by The C0DE at Zanzi Bar & Lounge.
Afro Island Thursdays are back at Zanzi Bar Cuisine & Lounge on Thursday, October 22, as part of the weekly series presented by @NoConductCrew. It's a night built around a few specific things: great music, Afro-Caribbean food, and a grown-and-sexy vibe that keeps the energy going from start to finish.
The music is handled by The C0DE, who take the room through a wide range of sounds. You'll hear Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Afro House alongside Reggae, Soca, and Dancehall, so the set moves across the African diaspora rather than sticking to one corner of it. It's a lot of ground to cover in one night, and that's exactly the pointβthe music is meant to be a journey through those styles.
Beyond the DJ booth, the food is a big part of the evening. Zanzi serves up Afro-Caribbean dishes that pair with the music, so you can eat and drink while the set runs. The bar does premium cocktails and bottle service, and there's hookah available if that's your speed. It's the kind of spot where you can come for a drink and a few songs and stay for the whole night.
