11th Annual LEDI International Life Changers Awards and Fundraising Gala

The Liberia Economic Development Initiative (LEDI) is hosting its 11th Annual International Life Changers Awards and Fundraising Gala on Saturday, October 24, at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel. It runs from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM in the Elegant Grand Ballroom, and the night is built around the theme "Every generation is remembered by the legacy it chooses to leave."

The evening is one of Atlanta's black-tie affairs, and it's designed to honor the city's leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, professionals, and community changemakers. The program includes an awards presentation, a networking reception, and a five-star dinner. For the honorees, there's an added touch: a special Liberian cultural naming and honoring ceremony that takes place in Liberia. Co-chairing the gala are Ambassador Andrew J. Young, the civil rights icon and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and former Mayor of Atlanta, and Virginia W. Harris, National President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.

Proceeds from the night go toward the development of the LEDI knowledge and AI hub of excellence, and toward expanding access to education, technology, and economic opportunity for underserved communities. It's a fundraiser, so the ticket options range from a single seat to full corporate sponsorships. General Admission is $150 for one guest; VIP Admission is $500 for two. A Friend of LEDI Champion ticket is $1,500 for up to four guests, and a Noncorporate Table Sponsorship is $2,500 for up to eight.

For businesses, the corporate tiers scale up: Bronze is $5,000 for up to 12 guests, Silver is $10,000 for up to two tables, Gold is $25,000 for up to three, Diamond is $50,000 for up to four, Platinum is $100,000 for up to five, and the Corporate Presenting level is $150,000 for up to seven tables. The Corporate Title sponsorship is $250,000. The gala is at the Marriott Gateway Hotel, 2020 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta, GA 30337, on Saturday, October 24, from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
