Wet Wet Wet play the Aberdeen Music Hall to mark the 40th anniversary of their 1987 debut album 'Popped In Souled Out', with support from Roachford.
Wet Wet Wet play the Aberdeen Music Hall on Wednesday 20 October 2027, as part of a forty-date UK tour marking the 40th anniversary of their 1987 debut, Popped In Souled Out. It's the record that launched one of Britain's most successful pop careers: it hit number one on the UK Albums Chart, went multi-platinum, and broke into the US Billboard Charts. From that one album came 'Wishing I Was Lucky', 'Sweet Little Mystery', 'Angel Eyes' and 'Temptation'. It spent more than 70 weeks on the chart and paved the way for further number ones, including 'With A Little Help From My Friends', 'Goodnight Girl' and their cover of The Troggs' 'Love Is All Around', which spent 15 weeks at the top.
The Glaswegian quartet sold more than 15 million records and built its reputation on soulful ballads and live performances. In 2018, founding members Graeme Clark, Tommy and Neil welcomed Kevin Simm as their new singer; he's best known for Liberty X and for winning the 2016 series of The Voice. The current line-up also includes guitarist Graeme Duffin.
