Fundraising ceilidh and raffle with local band Good Vibrations in aid of the NSPCC and Childline, marking the 40th anniversary of Childline.
NSPCC Scotland are holding a St Andrew's Day ceilidh at Cowdray Hall on Saturday 28 November, from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. It's a fundraising night in aid of the NSPCC and Childline's base here in Aberdeen, with a local ceilidh band on the stage and a raffle running alongside.
Good Vibrations are the band taking the lead on the music, so you'll have a local ceilidh set to keep the floor moving throughout the evening. The raffle is the other part of the fundraising, and it runs alongside the dancing rather than as a separate thing, so you can get involved without having to stop for long.
The night also marks a bit of history for the cause: it's the 40th year since Childline was established in 1986, so the ceilidh is as much about that milestone as it is about the fundraising for the Aberdeen base. If you've got a connection to the NSPCC or Childline, that's a nice bit of context to have in the back of your mind while you're out on the floor.

Tickets are £13 for adults and £5 for under-12s, and the whole thing runs from 7.00pm to 11.00pm at Cowdray Hall, which is part of the Aberdeen Art Gallery. Between the band and the raffle, it's a full night of dancing and fundraising for the local Childline service.
