Wicked Web'oween

The Web Adventure Park is turning into a Halloween destination this October with Wicked Web'oween, a family-focused takeover that runs across three weekends. It's not just a one-off date, so you've got a few options to fit in: Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, and Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. Each day runs from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, which is a decent window if you're heading in with kids.

The main draw is the Wicked connection. Glinda and Elphaba are there as tribute characters, so you can meet them throughout the day. Alongside them is the park's resident magic man, Dazzling Darren, who puts on Halloween-themed magic shows every day. If you're going on a weekend, you'll catch both the characters and the magic.

Beyond that, there's a pumpkin patch and a carving area, so you can pick out a pumpkin and get stuck into carving it right there. You'll also get to meet the park's furry animal friends, who'll be around alongside the tribute characters. It's a full day's outing rather than a quick visit, and everything on the day is included in the admission ticket, so you don't have to worry about paying extra for the shows or the carving area once you're inside.

It's a family thing, so it's best suited for those with younger ones in tow. With the sessions spread across three weekends, you can pick the one that works best for you. The park is in York, and it's open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on each of those dates: 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 October.
