Web Adventure Park is running its summer entertainment programme from 18 July through to 6 September, with the Kids Club running from 20 July to 4 September. It's a full day out for families during the summer holidays, and if you're looking for something to keep the kids occupied over the break, this is one of the bigger options in the city.
On the entertainment side, they've got magician Dazzling Darren performing, summer foam parties, and Animal Encounters where the kids can get close to ferrets, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The park itself is York's largest indoor play centre, covering 23,000 square feet of indoor activities, and it mixes that with outdoor attractions. There are sand and water zones, ride-on tractors, a digger sand area, and Yorkshire's own water pillow. There's also a resident animal crew to meet: ponies, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Valais sheep, degus, and a pot-bellied pig.
If you need something more structured, the park runs as an OFSTED-registered holiday club for children aged 5 to 12, so it's a safe space where they can run, climb, bounce, and discover. The summer entertainment—the magic shows and foam parties—sits on top of that, so there's a bit more going on than the usual play session.
