Under the Vines: A Carlton Towers Banquet

Under the Vines is coming to The Stables at Carlton Vineyard on Friday 11 September, a banquet set within the Walled Garden Vineyard at Carlton Towers Estate in York. It's an open-air evening that runs from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, with the dining taking place among the vines themselves.

The main event is a BBQ banquet, freshly prepared and served as the sun begins to set. The focus is on seasonal flavours and smoky aromas, and it's served alongside fine wine from the vineyard. The setup is social and informal: long tables tucked between the vines, designed for friends, couples, and small groups to gather around and eat together rather than a formal sit-down meal. It's a relaxed summer evening, and the vineyard setting is as much a part of it as the food.
