An evening of live music, dining and dancing featuring a live tribute performance by Soul Sensation, a three-course set menu and a disco until midnight.
The Soul and Motown Tribute Night returns to The Milner York on Saturday 14 November, after two previous sold-out events at the venue. It's a night built around the golden era of soul and Motown, with the live music provided by Soul Sensation, who'll be playing through the set. The evening doesn't stop when the band finishes, either; there's a disco that keeps the dance floor going until midnight.
It's a full evening out rather than just a gig. You'll get a three-course set menu to eat, and the tables are shared, with ten people to a table. If you're going with a small group, it's a good way to end up sitting with a few new faces. The music starts at 19:00, and the disco carries on until midnight, so it's a long stretch that takes you from dinner through to the late-night dancing.
The Milner York runs a regular programme of these tribute nights, so this isn't a one-off. They've hosted similar evenings dedicated to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and to ABBA, and the Soul and Motown one is coming back to the calendar after those two sell-outs. It's the same format each time: a live tribute act, a three-course meal, and a disco to follow.
